Do Java Pavilions require a building permit?
Building codes vary from community to community. Permit requirements are often based on whether a building is considered “permanent” or “temporary” construction. Gazebos are generally considered to be temporary construction, as they are free-standing and do not rest on permanent foundations. As such, they usually do not require building permits.
