Jack marries Sam. I don’t think he would have, but Tony goes to see Martha and tells her to keep away from Jack. Jack meanwhile has arranged to meet Martha, to decide where their future lies. However, Martha gets caught up with Tony, and when she goes to meet Jack, he’s already gone. He’s taken Martha’s absence that she doesn’t want to be with him, so he goes ahead and marries Sam.
