Do international students ever have a chance for a full ride?

Short answer: No, we do not offer full rides to international students. Long answer: “As far as our policies on financial aid for international students, Johns Hopkins does offer renewable scholarships and need-based financial aid available for enrolling freshmen who are not citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Due to limited funds, all types of assistance are awarded on a competitive basis and are highly selective. Approximately 10% of the incoming international freshman received need-based scholarships. The average scholarship is $25,000, but individual amounts can be more or less, depending on the financial need of the student. We however will not award full aid packages.
