Do inmates have access to reading materials?

Both facilities have libraries offering recreational and legal materials. Inmates visit the library on a scheduled basis and may check out up to two books. Inmates may access the legal materials when visiting the recreational library, or may submit a special request. Inmates may receive books through the U.S. Mail but they must be sent directly from the publisher. Books mailed from bookstores or other sources will be returned. Newspapers are available in housing units for shared use, free of charge.
