Do inmates have access to email?
Most states do not allow access to computers. The “Email a Prisoner” program is a method where we print the letters and mail them to the inmate at our expense. • Why have I receieved a letter saying my account will be suspended if I continue to violate the terms of “Email a Prisoner”? As stated in the email and terms of conditions, you are only allowed one account per family. Each family is granted 4 “email a prisoner” letters per 30 days free of charge. If a person is found to have more then one account, a warning will be given. If the person continues to use more then one account the account will be suspended. Any other violations will result in us blocking the IP address of the violator. We reserve this right due to costs of mailing letters to the inmates. If you wish to send more letters, please purchase more.
