Do ink cartridges have a shelf life?
The expiration date on cartridges is only a suggested date. If you keep them sealed and in a comfortable environment (not too hot or cold) they will last for years. I know someone who used cartridges more than 4 years past the expiration date with no problems. As for refills and remanufactured cartridges – stay away from them.
