Do in-country training programs have to be entered into TraiNet?

Yes. in-country training (ICT) data must be reported in TraiNet. According to ADS 253, Section E253.5.4 In-country Training: “Training data must be consolidated according to training program or sub-program, and must identify: • Subject area of training; • Total trainees per participant group, with gender breakdown; • Total cost of training for each program; and • Direct training costs (program costs, not overhead/fees).” In Country training programs or sub-programs of less than 3 days (15 contact-hours) total duration need not be reported. If a Mission places large numbers of group enrollees in a one-day class, or otherwise finds that short-duration in-country training programs are having notable impact, it may at its own option record those trainees as well.
