The Patriot InternationalSM and ExPatriot PlusSM plans will allow US citizens to purchase an additional 1-month’s coverage after you have been outside of the US for a minimum of 6 months. The additional 1-month’s coverage will cover you while you are back in the US for a minimum of 6 months for the balance of the policy year upon your return. You will not be allowed to renew the Global plan if you are not going to leave the US for a minimum of 6 months in the 2nd policy year.
