Do IBIS models provide timing information?
Solution IBIS models do not provide external or microparameter timing information such as propagation delays, skew, tco, and tsu. IBIS models, however, do provide information about the speed of switching signals at the IO buffer. When used in a board simulation tool IBIS models can also be useful for viewing how device-to-device propagation delays will be affected by various modes of the IO buffer such as fast or slow slew rate, or operation when set to different IO standards such as LVTTL or GTL+ for example.
