Do Iberia & Ryanair charge extra for taking laptop computers on board (as hand luggage)?

Because it’s a budget airline, Ryanair will only let you carry on one piece of hand luggage — and it has to weigh less than 10kg and measure no more than 55cm x 40cm x 20cm. To that end, you could carry your laptop on board, but it would have to be the ONLY thing you took. Perhaps you could slip a book and your passport inside your laptop bag, and check everything else in your suitcase (which, by the way, can’t weigh more than 15kg, unless you want to pay extra for each additional kilo.) Here’s the good news, however: when you come to take your flights on Iberia, you can bring one regular bag on board (again, it musn’t weigh more than 10kg), but you can ALSO bring a laptop bag at no extra charge. So you’re fine there. Hope this helps — have a safe flight and a great trip!
