Do I still need to use SAPNet R/3 Frontend to communicate with SAP Support?
No. SAP Solution Manager is connected via an interface to the SAP Service Marketplace and SAPNet R/3 Frontend. Support messages can be sent to SAP via this interface and there is no additional logon to SAPNet R/3 Frontend. Answers and status updates from SAP Support are transferred to the Service Desk in SAP Solution Manager together with the corresponding SAP Note as a solution proposal.
