Well, it’s simple, move back to London and explain why to your girlfriend she’ll get upset of course but it’s for the best, because eventually everything is going to go downhill fast and arguing will start, and if she stays with you through the move than it’s good and maybe once you have a good job she can move to London with you and you two can actually afford an apartment.
I’m sorry to say this, but take this from someone who has gone through the experience. Go back and live with your parents. Use it as an opportunity to save some money. Obviously, you’ll have to pay your parents some keep but it will be little compared to the rent you are currently paying. Get an admin job in London or wherever it is your parents live and then continually apply for jobs that you actually want to do in the sector that you want a career in. Concentrate on getting a career, not just a job of work, a career that you will enjoy for the rest of your life. I’m sure whatever your degree was and whatever you choose to do with your career, you’ll find it in London.
