Do I require a licence to operate x-ray equipment?

0

: Yes. To be eligible for one you must be registered under the Chiropractors Registration Board of WA. All chiropractors that intend to use x-ray equipment must hold their own licence. There are two types of licence, restricted and extended. The extended licence allows you to take a larger range of x-rays than the restricted licence. Please contact the Radiological Council for more details or to obtain a licence application form. You do not need a licence to refer patients to approved hospitals and radiology practices for plain radiography of the spine, pelvis, hip joints, sacro-iliac joints, shoulders, chest and extremities.
