Do I Recommend the Playtex Quickstraw?
Frankly, when I started to write this review I wasn’t sure whether or not I would recommend the Quickstraw. Looking at the big picture, I’d say yes, but be aware that it’s got its problems. It’s not the cup to use if you send your little one to bed with a cup, for example. And it’s probably best to stick with water and juice, since dairy products sour quickly in it. Also, I’d avoid drinks that might stain the straw, because anything that stains will probably leave its taste too. So, really pure grape juice might not be the best idea. Lastly, consider whether your younger kids are going to get their hands on the Quickstraw cup. We decided not to get any more of these cups for Meggie – not with two younger siblings to run off with them and make messes. Maybe baby Susannah will end up getting a few of them, but one is enough for Meggie!
