My husband and I are on our 2nd round of P90X. You do NOT need to buy beachbody’s equipment and supplements. They’re over priced and from what the mat looks like, it’s not cushioned enough for some of the exercises (you will be rolling on the floor so you want a good soft yoga mat). We bought a pull up bar tower from Sports Authority for $70. You can buy any pull up bar from any sports store for cheaper and it will do the same thing. Also, the recovery drink and bars can be substituted. We get 100% whey protein from Bulk Nutrition (website for body building). It’s cheaper in bulk and it mixes the best of any protein we’ve tried. The bars we use Power Bar (23g Protein ones, I forget the kind). They come in a box with 6 peanut butter and 6 vanilla from Sam’s Club. You could probably order those online if you have a membership.
