Do I need wii motion plus to play Zelda: Skyward Sword?
Wii Motion Plus plays a very big role in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The game is designed differently from a regular Zelda game because you are required to slash at specific angles for certain enemies in order to kill them. Also you have to point at the sky to charge up your sword. This would not be possible without Wii Motion Plus (as Zelda developers Miyamoto and Aonuma said). It seems likely that it could come in a bundle with Wii Motion Plus since it is required in the game (like Wii Sports Resort). If not, you’ll have to buy it separately for $20.
