DO I need visas for USA born children to move to UK?

Not really, they’re probably British via descent. If you got your British status either by being born in the UK yourself or to British (at the time) parents or naturalization (if you received it via descent as in you were not born in the UK but got it via your parents you cannot pass it down to them unless the children were born in the UK). You can only register your children born outside the UK for one 1 year after their birth. Registration (in British terms for your case) means Birth Certificate. Apparently the Brits don’t have Citizenship certificates if you’re born in the UK or get it via descent (as you just ask your parents for their ID and get the passport via them to formalize it). You should be able to apply for the British passports for the children. It’s a little expensive for 3 of them though. $160 US for one child, then $15 postage and handling so you’re looking at $505 for the passports for 3 children (3nd link for the passport forms and notes on them).
