Do I need to upgrade the suspension system on a NuWa product?
This is a good question to ask members on the NuWa Owners Forum www.nuwaowners.org. Do a search first, as there is quite a bit of information on this topic already posted by forum members. Right now there is a lot of activity by suppliers of suspension systems, pin box and hitch technology to improve ride. All of these systems offer benefits, however our experience indicates some provide more value than others. DA and CE models are standard with the TrailAir Equa-Flex rubberized suspension system. The TrailAir Center Point air bag system is offered as an option. The LS models are standard with mechanical equalizers, but can optionally be equipped with the Equa-Flex or Center Point suspension systems if desired. Consider that NuWa has built literally thousands of 5th wheels with leaf springs, shock absorbers, and mechanical equalizers, and customers have found ride and performance to be quite acceptable.
