Yes, we strongly recommend that you tip your guide and any staff member that have provided good service during your trip. You can pay in Dollar, Euro or Local currency. Dollar is the most popular and appreciated currency to tip the staff. About USD 5$ to 15$ per day / porter is the average amount to be paid for each staff member you wish to tip. Although it is not compulsory, if you feel your guide or any staff member has done a good job, please allow extra cash to your usual tip – approx. USD 20$ / pers. You can also leave some gear or gifts as in some countries, mountain gear are rare or very expensive. Don’t forget to bring enough cash to tip your staff – you can also use local ATMs or cash points to withdraw local currencies – Thank you.
