Do I need to take both College Algebra (MATH 1110) and College Trigonometry (MATH 1120) before enrolling in Calculus 1 (MATH 1180)?
The prerequisites for Calculus 1 are either completion of College Algebra (MATH 1110) and College Trigonometry (MATH 1120) OR completion of Precalculus (MATH 1125). It is also recommended that you pass these courses with a grade of “C” or higher before attempting to take Math 1180. Note: The prerequisite for College Algebra (MATH 1110) is MATH 0080, or placement. The prerequisite for Precalculus (MATH 1125) is MATH 0080 with a grade of “A”, or placement.
