Do i need to study a GCSE Science course or can I just sit the exam ?
Most educational places that will offer you to study GCSE science will require you to put so many hours before they will submit you for the exam. Often this is spread over a number of weeks, depending on where you actually study. So yes, you do need to study for the exam. Firstly because if you yourself are an “adult learner”, then you will probably have to pay for the course and exam fees. So if you go to the exam and fail it, it looks bad on the tutor and it wastes your own cash, so that’s why they require you to study beforehand. Secondly, GCSE science often comes with practical and coursework which alongside your exam grade make up your total GCSE grade in the subject. Hope I helped.
