Do I need to sort the paper, card, plastics, glass and cans into different bags?
A. No, all we ask is that you sort the recyclables from your general refuse. There is no need to sort the recyclables further; this is done at the sorting facility. Paper, card, cans, glass and plastic can all be placed into a single bag. Q Do I have to take part? A. The County Council is committed to improving the quality of the environment and to increasing the county’s recycling performance. You are therefore encouraged to take part. Q.
