Do I need to review Algebra 1 for Algebra 2/trig next year?

In my class they reviewed a lot because of the “year off” from algebra, and a lot of people forgot the basics. But you pick up on them quick. I however would advise you to review the basic concepts because the more prepared you are, the more you will impress your teacher and make a good impression, and she will likely be really open to helping you when you need it and will be more flexible with you because you’ve already proved you’re motivated and “interested in the topic”. Trick of the trade. lol, no but seriously–It feels really good to know what’s going on in class and to be able to explain it to others, to answer questions when no one else knows the answer….lots of perks to being prepared. I would pick up a book from Barnes and Noble if you can–student’s section usually has lots of helpful stuff for independent learners like you! Good luck!
