Do I need to register my new motor scooter or moped with the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation Motor Vehicle Division?
A. All two and three wheel vehicles that you intend to use on the public roads of Guam must be registered with the Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation Motor Vehicle Division. Vehicles under 50cc are considered mopeds and are registered as such. All vehicles 50cc and over are considered motorcycles and must be registered as motorcycles even if they are scooter style vehicles. The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation Motor Vehicle Division will issue a registration document that must be carried in the vehicle at all times and will also issue a moped or motorcycle license plate that must be attached to the vehicle.
