You need a Federal Tax ID # from the state. You don’t need a charter. You also need a Sellers Permit if you will be selling tangible goods. Let’s see: Business License Fictitious Name Sellers Permit (I’m not sure if you need this if you are just renting. Maybe someone else can confirm this) Tax ID (EIN) I think that’s it.
