Do I need to purchase the online course to test for promotion through the video evaluation process?
No. We don’t care where you learn the techniques. As long as you perfect them you are invited to use the Gracie University video evaluation process to test for promotion. The reason we set it up this way is because we understand that, in many cases, GU students will get together in small groups to practice, and even though not all members of the group will have purchased the DVD collection, or the online courses, they are still learning the techniques from other members of the group and are equally dedicated to the curriculum. In order to use the video evaluation process, the only thing you or your training partners must do is create a GU student profile, which is free.
