Do I need to purchase equipment in order to use Zolatel?
Not necessarily. When you sign for your free Zolatel account you can immediately start making calls from and receiving calls on any US and Canadian phone you already have. We also provide you with the options to setup incoming/outgoing service on most smart-phones that support Fring and other compatible mobile phone dialers. For those rare moments when you’d rather not use your cell-phone minutes or don’t have access to a phone, we can provide you with the parameters to setup service using any soft-phone on your computer. If you are a business or a very heavy caller/receiver then we suggest you purchase an analogue telephone adapter to which you can connect any regular phone and you will have theold-fashioned fixed line service with preprogrammed Kenyan number that operated just like your typical house phone.
