Do I need to open an AlertPay account before I join JustBeenPaid!?
A. You can actually join JBP without having an AlertPay account. However, you’ll need a funded AlertPay account (or a credit card linked to your account) to complete the upgrade process. Without an AlertPay account, there will also be no way for you to get paid. VERY IMPORTANT: Be sure to select “Personal Pro” as your account type when you open an AlertPay account. See the two answers directly above for more information. (AlertPay is based in Canada. If you send a money order to fund your account, it needs to be an International Money Order. Mail from the USA to Canada requires extra postage.) If you encounter problems when trying to make the $10 or $20 upgrade payment, please Submit a Help Request. A. We recommend you do so. Another option is to go through the JustBeenPaid! sign-up process until you get to the first payment step, then come back and log in to complete the sign-up process after you open and fund your AlertPay account.
