A. No. However, there are clear benefits in understanding its current condition. CorrView ® measures the loss of wall thickness from the starting point indicated by its stamped wear dimension. Knowing the current condition of the piping system therefore provides an understanding of the approximate wall thickness that will exist at the pipe after CorrView ® provides its warning indication.
