Do I need to initially program the weemote, remote control or does it work out of the box?
The weemote® comes pre-programmed to 5 family channels from the TELUS TV Family theme pack. These channels include: • Button 1: Treehouse • Button 2: BBC Kids • Button 3: Discovery Kids • Button 4: Teletoon • Button 5: Family The weemote is also pre-programmed to work with the TELUS TV digital box. You will, however, have to program the weemote to work with your TV (unless you have a Sony TV, which is the default setting). If you do not have a Sony TV, and have not programmed your weemote, your TV will not respond to the power button, nor will the volume buttons on the weemote work. Please refer to page 10 of the Parent’s guide for more information on how to program your TV. • The weemote’s red LED light does not light or flash properly. Ensure you have installed the batteries properly. Also ensure that the batteries are not dead or too weak to operate the weemote®.
