Are you in the US? If so, you can use the US State Department’s travel pages online: http://www.state.gov/travel/ ..and search for the country of your choice. Results will show you what requirements you need to travel in that country (passport, visa, vaccinations, etc) as well as things to look out for such as health risks, safety factors (don’t set you bags, purse, or luggage down in ANY eastern-European bus station) or risks of violence in militarily active areas. I have used these pages in my own travels. When they tell you not to accept drinks from strangers in bars for risk of being drugged and robbed, believe it!
