Do I need to enroll to a sewing school just to learn how to sew?
I don’t think enrolling in a complete Sewing School is necessary in order to learn to sew! Is there such a thing, anyway? A class can be very helpful, and usually local sewing shops offer classes in sewing, like at JoAnn Fabrics or other locally owned businesses. If you purchase a sewing machine, in many cases the place that sold it to you will offer some kind of classes on its use and features. Another place to try is a quilt shop. Depending on the machine you have, you might be able to learn to sew on your own. If you have one of the computer sewing machines, you might need some help, however, as they can do so many things and are a bit complicated. But if you have a basic machine and can follow the instructions in the book, that’s a great start. There are some things in sewing that are more complicated, though, than just a straight or a zigzag stitch.
