Do I need to design a different amplicon for Fast QPCR?

As there is very short annealing/extension and denaturation times, short amplicons will lead to more efficient reactions. Amplicons of <150bp are strongly recommended for fast QPCR protocols. You should also ensure that the Tm of the primers is around 60°C.
