Do I need to create a NetLibrary account to read an eBook?

0

Although you don’t NEED a NetLibrary account in all cases to read an eBook, it is recommended that you create one if you plan to use eBooks. You will never need a NetLibrary account to read an eBook from inside a Timberland library. You do not need a NetLibrary account if you are at home and access NetLibrary from a Timberland Reference Databases menu. (The Reference Database menus require you to enter your library card number for authentication.) You do need an account to read an eBook from home if you connect directly to NetLibrary’s web address (www.netlibrary.com). You do need an account if you are at home and connect to a NetLibrary eBook using a link in Timberland’s online catalog. The links in the online catalog do not require you to enter your library card number for authentication.
