You will not need a licence if you are coating the materials listed above as ‘low risk asbestos containing materials’. For all other ACMs you need to contact a licensed asbestos contractor. Contact the HSE for further information NOTE In most cases it is an offence to work with asbestos insulation, Asbestos coating or asbestos insulating board without a licence.
