Do I need to be accepted in a university in the UK before applying for the Chevening Scholarships?
No. You can apply for the University in the UK after you are awarded the scholarship or the British Council advisors will offer you a list of three universities to choose from after your scholarship is confirmed. Some universities have very early admissions deadlines – examples are Oxford, Cambridge, London Business School, London School of Economics, and Kings College London – and we cannot therefore always guarantee a placement at a university of your choice.
