Do I need to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to attend BYU?
No. Admission to the University and to our department is done without regard to religious beliefs. All students who attend Brigham Young University must abide by a code of behavior that includes honesty in school work and in the community, obedience to laws, modesty in dress, and abstinence from tobacco, alcohol, coffee, and illegal or harmful drugs.
