No. Studies have shown that by supplementing with Calcium for horses with bighead provide little or no response. It is when Calcium is supplemented in balance with other minerals a response is evident. This is why horses on oxalate containing pastures have a higher dose of Equilibrium Mineral Mix then all other horse types. This increased dose has taken into consideration the binding up effect of the oxalates in the grass.
