Do I need Jimmi Jammer plates on the rear passenger doors of my 4 door Super Duty truck or Excurion?
Yes! We originally thought that the rear doors would not be attacked by thieves since there is no lock cylinder. We have since learned that the thieves are indeed able to break in throught the rear doors even though there is no lock cylinder. They can pry the handle away from the door metal enough to get a piece of wire into the door. Then, they know where to grab a rod at the latch assembly to open the door. Same goes for the front passenger door on newer models that doesn’t have a lock cylinder. Put the plate on anyway! For the rear doors of your 4 door Super Duty or Excursion, order PN 103010. See our model list to make sure you get the correct kit for your door handle and lock combination.
