Do I need Further Maths AS Level to study a joint maths degree?

No, you don’t need further Maths. My boyfriend studied Maths and Economics at university with just Maths A level. In fact if you study further Maths you will probably just find that you repeat it all in your first few weeks of university! I suppose that could make it easier for you though. Also, you should do what you want to do – don’t let your mother make your choices for you! 🙂 My boyfriend started in 2004 and finished in 07. It was at Liverpool, not LSE, so I suppose the requirements could be different there. I guess it depends what other subjects you’re doing as well – like if you’re doing Physics as well, then that will help you too. Good luck with whatever you choose to do anyway!
