To take credit card orders with SmartECart, you will need to download and install PGP on your home computer and upload your PGP public key to the server (note: info. on where to obtain PGP is included in the manual, built-in to SmartECart). SmartECart will not store credit card numbers if a PGP public key is not uploaded to the server. You may need to purchase a PGP commercial-use license. For more information, please call technical support at 1-800-377-3167. For real-time credit card processing you will need to purchase a merchant account from a merchant service provider and Internet payment gateway account with AuthorizeNet.
