Do I need any special tools to apply the Nansulate® EPX?

You can apply the EPX yourself with either a trowel, texture sprayer or hopper gun (drywall sprayer). You will also need a mixer (the type that fits onto a drill) in order to thoroughly mix the Part A with Part B.
