Do I need any special software of hardware to use the AFCU Online Bill Payment Service?
To use the AFCU Online Bill Payment Service you will need a compatible secure browser installed on your PC, which is capable of 128-bit U.S. Security Encryption. This is also sometimes referred to as 128-bit Strong Encryption. AFCU Online currently supports Netscape versions 4.0 and higher and Internet Explorer versions 4.0 and higher. If your browser level is not acceptable to meet our specific security protocol, you can go to the Netscape or Microsoft home page and download the acceptable version. To verify whether or not your PC has a 128-bit Strong Encryption with Internet Explorer, go to Internet Explorer, Click on Help, and Click on About Internet Explorer. See Cipher Strength. To verify whether or not your PC has a 128-bit Strong Encryption with Netscape, go to Netscape, Click on Help, Click on About Navigator/Communicator, Scroll down to RSA Data Security and look for “this version supports U.S. Security”.
