Do I need any special equipment to connect to Internet w/ my MacBook?

Your MacBook has everything you need on it to connect to the internet. But it needs to be able to connect to something. If your household already has a wireless router for all the PCs, that’s all you need. Just turn the Airport on (icon that looks like a baseball field upper right), it will find your available wireless networks and connect to the one you tell it to connect to. If it needs a password, you’ll need to enter that when prompted to. If you don’t have a wireless router like an Airport, then you can hard wire (ethernet cable) you MacBook to your router. Or buy a wireless router and set it up.
