Do i need an Area code along with the country code when I am calling at a Mobile phone number?
It depends what country you are calling. In some countries, such as the US and Canada, most mobile phone numbers are intermixed with landline numbers in the same geographic area codes. You dial them the same way as landlines. In many other countries, instead of a geographic area code, there may be a “company code” for each service provider, or there may be a whole range of codes for mobiles from all service providers. Mexico is a special case. To call a mobile phone in Mexico, you have to dial (international prefix) + 52 (country code for Mexico) + 1 (special prefix for mobiles) + (geographic area code) + (number). For example, a mobile in Monterrey might be +52-1-81-XX.XX.XX.XX.
