Do I need a zip disk / jump-usb drive for this project?
A zip disk / usb or jump drive is not essential for completing this project but it is highly recommended that you use some type of storage device that can handle large storage volume. If you will be adding pictures and scanning documents into your portfolio, larger storage capacity will be needed. Floppy disks do not have enough room to handle documents as large as scanned items and photographs. If your computer has a zip drive, using a zip disk to store your documents is a good idea. A new more accessible alternative are the new USB removable storage devices. They are portable storage devices that plug in to a USB port, so can be used on any computer– no need to purchase a zip drive. See Portable Files information.
