In the immortal words of Don of Cygnus, “Its a lifestyle issue!” There is ample water available at the fuel docks all up and down the island chain costing between 10 and 25 cents a gallon. You will not save money running a watermaker.. You will have the issue of supplying it with sufficient power, the requirement that it be run regularly and the inevitable occasional breakdown.
