Do I need a special program or will Roxio Creator 2009 Work?
You need a special program to rip them, and, in most cases, a special CD drive. Note that you CAN use an ordinary CD drive and play the audio only. You can also use iTunes, or anything else to rip audio only. But you have to jump thru hoops to get the text. For the record, I paid about $80 a few years back for a Plextor drive. It was the only external FireWire CD+G comatible drive I could find. I used kJams (called something else now) to rip. I had to play with it to find a format that MegaSeg would play. I think I settled on MP2. Now that the hard work is done, everything works great, and MegaSeg plays it just like any other video track.
