Yes you do! U-Boat Worx will not accept any responsibility if the boats are not controlled by a person with a UBW Underwater Pilot License or comparable and approved certificate. As far as the authorities are concerned, there is no need for whatever certificate piloting a vessel like C-Quester under water. Q: How I would go about taking the Underwater Pilot License Courses. A: You would have to do the training at one of our dealers. Depending on your wishes we can also customize a training. Q: Is the U-Boat Worx ‘Underwater Pilot License’ generally accepted. A: This training is performed by U-Boat Worx or its dealers, and pilots are only trained for a specific model. Therefore the license can not be used to pilot other subs.
