Do I need a special holster for the LaserMax®?

Not at all! We designed the LaserMax® to be used with standard retention holsters. The LaserMax® has no external parts and is completely internal. When using a standard, law enforcement retention holster, the laser will shut off when the firearm is holstered. This feature saves the battery from inadvertent activation of the laser in the holster.
